What is a Leadership Strategist?
A leadership strategist goes beyond traditional executive coaching. While coaching remains the heart of the work, it’s paired with strategic insight, education, and evidence-based practices that uplift both the individual leader and the broader organisation.
Think of it as coaching with extra firepower: yes, there’s space for deep reflection and mindset work, but also practical tools, strategic planning, and mentoring to strengthen leadership capability, decision-making, and organisational impact.
Whether you’re navigating a pivot, shaping culture, or building a future-ready leadership pipeline — a leadership strategist helps you lead with clarity, not just confidence.
How do I know if it’s the right time for me to be coached?
Knowing your goal or feeling ‘ready’ isn’t a prerequisite for coaching. Sometimes it’s simply knowing something isn’t right and wanting to figure out what. Coaching can be messy and part of the process is sorting through the ‘spaghetti’ in our heads to figure out our goals.
The only prerequisite to coaching is being ready to invest the time and effort in your growth. If you’re happy with the status quo, don’t want anything to change and everything is going ok, now is not the time for coaching.
What’s the difference between coaching and mentoring?
Great question — they’re related, but they serve different purposes.
Coaching is focused on helping you find your own answers. It’s reflective, forward-focused, and grounded in the belief that you already have the insight — you might just need space, the right questions, and a bit of support to uncover it. Coaching builds clarity, confidence, and capability from the inside out.
Mentoring, in the way I practise it, is less about war stories over coffee and more about sharing structured, evidence-based approaches to leadership that actually work. It’s about passing on proven strategies, research-informed tools, and real-world perspective — especially when they can shortcut the trial and error.
In my work as a leadership strategist, you’ll get both: powerful coaching to unlock what’s already within you, and structured mentoring to strengthen your leadership with tools that support both you and your organisation.

Whilst my primary focus is on women who are already senior, executive and C-Suite leaders, I also support women who are aspiring to senior leadership as their next promotion.
